About COP
Our name explain what we do:protecting orangutan, anywhere – anytime. We campaign to protect orangutan habitat in Borneo and Sumatra, run rescue and rehabilitation centres to create second chance for orangutan in East Borneo and North Sumatra, assisting captive wildlife facilities to improve the welfare of orangutans and combating crimes against wildlife. We operate 5 teams in the front lines that work 24 hours 7 days a week, since 2007. Thanks to our proud Orangufriends for supporting our daily operation across Western Indonesia
